My name is Beth! I have been doing family portraits for 9 years now and still love it! Me, plain and simple....- I have a beautiful 7 year old girl, Annabella- My favorite season is fall- I would wither away without my mother - We have a pet bunny named Tuesday....he works at the studio through spring- I envy everything my big sister does....still- Chocolate makes me smile- My husband, Zack, is my hero and still makes me weak in the knees- Annabella and I have "Girls Only" Days...often- I get more zoned out on commercials than the actual show I'm watching- Annabella was a big, beautiful baby...10.5 lbs!- I still cry at every wedding I go to- I peel the crust off of sandwiches After school and many years working for portrait studios, I was given the opprotunity to fulfill my dream and open my own studio! That is when Xposure Portraits was born in Anoka, Minnesota. Why did I choose family as my main focus for portraits? There is nothing more importrant to me. To be able to look back at your ever changing life is priceless and I love being a part of it!

Family Sessions include family, children, young adults, pets and graduation portraits.You can choose to have your session at my studio, your home or somewhere else fun. The average session runs 20 minutes to 1 hour. Try to come ready, because kids usually come ready to go and, as you know, they don't like to wait. I also have dressing room to do your last minute preparations.What I am looking to do with your portraits is to capture personalities! I encourage you to bring their favorite toy or blankie or with seniors, bring your instruments and any thing else you may be into! What to wear?I usually suggest to wear what reflects the personality or personalities. Bright colors come out great in pictures,. Wear something you are comfortable in. If you are "over dressed" the pictures tend to not be as natural. For family portraits, try to coordinate rather than match. What happens after the session?If you had an indoor session - expect to see them about 20 minutes after your session or plan on making an appointment to come back and view them and order. There is no pressure to order right away. I realize that sometimes it is easier to get the kids home and come back another day. You can also have them put online for viewing too, it's only $15. If you had an outdoor session - Call and set up a time to stop in to the studio and check them out. You can see them as soon as the next day!I will also put together collages and enhancements with every session. My favorite part! : a strong positive emotion of regard and affectionLove is a beautiful thing. Weddings are another favorite of mine! It is one of the biggest parts of your life and I am honored every time I am asked to be a part of it. I know first hand that the planning process can get very overwhelming! I strive to make the "picture process" an easy one. No question too small and you can never call me too much.Every wedding is as unique as a snowflake and I want that to show that in each wedding I photograph. What to expext?Expect my all! I only take a certain amount of weddings per year so I stay fresh and excited for you! I would rather have a handful of weddings I can be very proud of then to be worn out from them and find myself doing the same thing at every wedding. What happens after our wedding?I start the editing process right away, usually because I am too excited to wait! It usually takes me a few days to get through them all (and still have time to sleep, hehe). I make some custom collages and enhancements that are original to your wedding! I will then let you know and we can set up a time to meet and go through them and get your CD. I can also post them on-line for you ($15) and you can show them off to your family and friends!
